Kate

Raised in rural New England, Kate has spent much of her life exploring the world. With a thirst for knowledge and adventure, her experiences have been diverse and varied – skiing the Austrian alps at 11, scuba diving off the Maine coast with sea lions, a solo trip to Morocco to ride camels in the Sahara, trekking through the jungles of Northern Thailand – new vistas constantly beckon. As an actress and jazz singer with her own band, The K8 Stewart Experience, she is able to arrange her schedule to coincide conveniently with her wanderlust.  In September of this year, she starts intense training for her anticipated climb to the top of Mount Everest in 2012.
