Anet

Anet arrived in the US 2 years ago from Iran with her husband.  Hearing about the opportunities that US provided for disabled individuals, they were encouraged to come over. In September 2009, she began taking classes at the Braille Institute.  Through Braille’s amazing program, she was happy to find that her hopes about the US were true.  She is currently learning to speak English through Braille’s ESL classes.  In September, she will be attending hook rug, computer classes and will be continuing her favorite class, Latin Dancing.  She loves the sport of hiking and began hiking at the age of 16.  However, Mt. Baldy proves to be the most challenging hike she will be attempting to do.
