Odet

Odet lives in Glendale, CA with her daughter and her husband.  She has been happily married for 24 years!  Coming from Iran 9 years ago, Odet didn’t know how to speak any English.  After 6 months of being in the US, she began attending classes at the Braille Institute and quickly learned English.  She enjoys singing, dancing and is an instructor at the Braille Institute, teaching Mobility.  Her favorite classes at the Braille is Dance, Ceramic and Hooked Rugs!

Odet now speaks Armenian, Farsi and English.

She started the “Baldy for the Blind” program because she wanted to prove to herself that she can do anything and she adores hiking!
